Privacy policy

The short version

We do not want your browsing data and we have not built anything to collect it. No cookie is set by this site, no analytics script runs on it, and no third-party resource is loaded from another domain, which means nobody else gets to observe your visit either.

If you write to us, we keep your email in order to reply to it. That is the whole of it.

What this site does not do

• No cookies of any kind, including so-called functional ones.
• No analytics or audience measurement, first-party or otherwise.
• No advertising, retargeting or conversion tracking pixels.
• No social network widgets or embedded players.
• No externally hosted fonts, scripts or images: everything is served from this domain.
• No account, no login, no contact form.

What is technically recorded

Serving a web page requires a server to receive a request. Our content delivery network may record standard technical access logs containing an IP address, a timestamp, the requested URL and a user agent. These logs exist for security and operational diagnosis, and they are not used to build profiles, are not cross-referenced with anything, and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes.

If you email us

When you write to contact@onescale.io, we process the data you choose to send: at minimum your email address, usually your name, and whatever you tell us about your project. We use it to answer you and, if it leads somewhere, to carry out the resulting engagement.

We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing without you asking for it. We keep commercial correspondence for as long as the business relationship justifies it, and correspondence that leads nowhere for up to three years from the last exchange.

Processors and transfers

Two providers are involved. Amazon Web Services hosts the site, with origin storage in the Paris region; content delivery nodes are distributed worldwide and may cache these public pages outside the European Union, which is unremarkable given that those pages contain no personal data. Our email provider processes the messages you send us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or its erasure, and you may object to its processing. Write to contact@onescale.io and one of the two of us will answer.

Since this site collects nothing automatically, in most cases there is simply nothing for us to hand over. If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Because the site collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new practice.
